The final design in my mini Christmas Series is a perfect Wreath. A symbol of hope and new beginnings, its by far my favourite in this set. Which is your favourite?
This is the 4th and last design in the series released on the run up to Christmas so keep a look out for the previous releases of each design and make sure you enjoy a 'time out' over this festive season. You may even want to gift a few to family and friends.
I've gone for 3 colours for this design - my usual green and sparkly gray yarn which you can find below:
And a lovely pink:
Each coaster is worked in Tapestry Crochet with a Moss Stitch border to finish. If Tapestry Crochet is new to you, don't forget to check out my handy tips and tricks post which you can find here.
You'll need:
3.5mm/E-4 Crochet Hook
3 colours of Light Worsted/DK yarn
Tapestry needle for sewing in ends
For this pattern, you'll need to carry the colour not in use and change colour on the last yarn over of the previous stitch. When all stitches of a colour have been worked for that row, drop that colour yarn; there's no need to carry it to the end of the row.
Beginning '1 ch' does not count as a stitch.

For the border, join CC in side of first stitch on the top left side. 1 ch, starting in the same st, *1 sc, 1 ch, miss next st; rep from * to end, 1 ch. Rep for all sides, sl st to first st to join.
Fasten off and weave in all ends.
