These lovely little squares really do make the perfect small projects for restless hands.
If you're like me, most of my crochet never makes it into a bigger project but brings me just as much joy from aimlessly hooking up something small and pretty.
These little squares won't take you long and are beginner friendly - you only need to know how to make a single crochet and carry your yarn.
You'll need:
3.5mm/E-4 Crochet Hook
2 colours of Light Worsted/DK yarn
Tapestry needle for sewing in ends
For this pattern, you'll need to carry the colour not in use and change colour on the last yarn over of the previous stitch. When all stitches of a colour have been worked for that row, drop that colour yarn; there's no need to carry it to the end of the row.
Beginning '1 ch' does not count as a stitch.
Abbreviations:
ch - chain
st - stitch
sc - single crochet
RS - right side
WS - wrong side
MC - main colour
